Rio is a good looking 5655 son who got powerful as a mature bull. We like how masculine and shapely he is and appreciate that he stands on a good foot and sound structure. He also stays very slick haired. He is moderate in birth weight with strong growth and marbling. His dam, 6515, is moderate sized, deep bodied and attractive, with a beautiful udder and perfect feet.

Unfortunately, Rio injured his back right pasturn in wire in the winter of 2024 (as you can see in the picture). We got two more breeding season out of him and sold him in 2025.
